Information and Services

What is Weekly Mansion?
Weekly Mansion is a furnished apartment, which originally started as temporary housing for stays of 7 nights or more. It can now be booked for periods varying from 1 night to a long term stay. The apartments are set up to cater to budget-conscious vacationers and traveling business people. They have essential facilities such as bed, bedding, kitchenette for simple cooking, air conditioner, private bath & toilet, etc. They also have free Internet access, television, phone, fridge and other amenities such as video on demand.
Where are the properties located?
Most properties are located within walking distance of a station. To learn more about the locations, click "Find a Hotel."
Do the properties come with housekeeping or maid services?
No, housekeeping or maid services are not included, so guests can enjoy ample privacy and the freedom of having your own space. However, guests who wish for housekeeping service at an additional cost can request it in advance.
What facilities and amenities are available?
Facilities and amenities vary by property. Please review the information for each individual property.
Are there any apartments for three persons or more?
Yes, some properties have units for three persons or more. To learn about properties with those units, click the following links: Asakusa, Akasaka,Fukagawa, Higashi-Ueno, Otemae, and Shinsaibashi.
Do you have non-smoking rooms?
It depends on the property. Some properties have non-smoking rooms. Non-smoking rooms are specified during the online reservation process. To learn about properties with non-smoking units, click the following links: Machida, Shinagawa, Higashi-Ikebukuro, and Flexstay Kanda Inn.
What items do the properties offer included in the rent?
Cooking utensils, such as a pot, kettle, frying pan, knife, cutting board, plates, silverware, etc are included in the rent (i.e., free of charge). However, they may be subject to availability, and items available may vary by property. Please check with the front desk after check-in.
Do you offer complimentary Internet access?
Yes, if you bring a PC, you can enjoy free Internet access (Wi-Fi connection is not provided). However, please note that communication speed may vary depending on the traffic in the property. Ethernet cables are either available in your room, or provided at the front desk. Please be aware that voltage and plug sockets in Japan may be different from those used in your country. Converters and plug adapters are not available for rent at the front desk.
Do the properties offer bathroom amenities such as towel, shampoo, rinse, soap and shaver?
It depends on how many nights you make a reservation for. For "Daily Rate" reservations of 1-6 nights, a towel and amenity set (including Japanese robes) will be provided on the first night of your stay, and replacements are also available free at the front desk. For "Weekly Rate" and "Monthly Rate" reservations of 7 nights or more, a set for the first night is provided for free at some properties, and replacements are available for an additional charge at the front desk.
Are there restaurants inside the properties?
No, we do not serve any food, but there are restaurants and shops which sell food near most of our properties.
Is there a curfew?
No, you will receive a card key when checking in. With the card, you can go in and out of your apartment whenever you want during your stay.
How good is the security management?
A card key is required to enter each apartment. The properties are monitored by 24-hour security cameras in the buildings and their entrances automatically lock after business hours. A PIN code is required to enter the properties. Residential staff can assist in case of any emergency after business hours. You can feel safe with them. What is more, Japan is relatively safe by global standards.
Does Weekly Mansion Tokyo offer shuttle services from international airports?
Unfortunately, we do not have our own shuttle service. However, access from airports is made easier with the printable maps on each individual property page.
What is "Video on demand"?
Video On Demand gives you personalized viewing not possible with pay-per-view services. You can pause, play, fast forward, and rewind your entertainment selection. In other words, you have total control over what you watch and how you watch it. Most importantly, you also have complete control over when you watch. There is no need to wait for a set time to watch a movie, just hit the play button when you are ready. This feature gives you access to a wide array of feature films, including newly released movies. Some of the movies available are in English. The service also offers a selection of adult films.
Do you have English TV channels?
Yes, some of our properties provide pay TV channels, and others feature video on demand with English content. However, English news programs are not available.

Reservations

How do I make a reservation?
Making a reservation is easy. Simply book a room on our online reservation site, and click "Reservation" to check availability. Then follow the instructions.
May I cancel a reservation that I made online?
Yes, just click the "View/ Modify Reservation" and follow the instructions to retrieve your reservation details. Please take care to enter the correct information. Please review the cancellation policies found on the "Conditions" page before canceling your reservation. Note that any amendments to your bookings can be made online only.
How do I change a reservation that I made by e-mail?
Please send us a request for reservation amendment by e-mail. When sending us a request, please be sure to include your name, reservation number, and property name. Please review the cancellation policy found on the "Conditions" page before canceling your reservation.
May I extend or shorten my reservation?
Yes, if you made your reservation online, you can shorten it online. Click the "View/ Modify Reservation" and follow the instructions to retrieve your reservation details. To extend your reservation, please cancel the existing reservation and make a new one. However, please note that all amendments to bookings are subject to availability.
May I make amendments to my reservation after check-in?
Yes, we take requests for changing your reservation at the front desk during business hours. If shortening your stay, our cancellation policy may apply. Please check "Cancellation Policy" on the "Conditions" page. In the case of extending your stay, published rates will apply if the reservation extension is not done online.
How far ahead can I book before my planned arrival date?
You can book up to 3 months in advance, but please be sure to remember you have made the reservation, or our cancellation policy will apply.
Can I reserve two adjoining rooms?
We will make an effort to meet your requests; however, we can not guarantee compliance.

Which property is the best as a base for sightseeing in Tokyo?
Tokyo offers so much to see and experience that it is best to plan in advance and decide where you want to go, and choose a property close to there. You can also refer to "Nearby Points of Interest" on "Map & Directions" on each individual property page. Please remember that any of our properties provides easy access to most of the popular highlights in Tokyo within an hour's train ride.
What is the best way to contact a specific property?
You can contact our properties by phone during business hours only. However, not all receptionists are proficient in English. It would therefore be appreciated if you could contact us by clicking on "Contact us." We will be happy to answer your inquiries.
How do I check in after business hours?
Night duty staff will assist you with check-in procedures.The instructions to enter the property after hours will be provided upon completion of reservation. Please be sure to read the "Booking Confirmation" email.
How do I contact a friend staying at a Weekly Mansion Tokyo property?
Unfortunately, we cannot transfer your call to his/her apartment. We are not able to give you any information about our guests for security reasons.
Do children stay free?
Children of 6 years old or under stay free if they share the existing bed with parents. Unfortunately, baby cots are not available.
When and where can I get a key to a room?
You will receive a card key upon check-in and we will show you how to use it.
Does Weekly Mansion Tokyo allow pets?
Service animals are the only pets allowed at the properties of Weekly Mansion Tokyo. Please notify the property in advance.
Can I have visitors in my apartment?
Yes, by filling out a visitor registration form at the front desk. However, you can only have friends in your apartment during business hours. After the front office hours, visitors are not allowed.
Can I use an electric appliance that I bought outside of Japan?
It depends. Electricity in Japan is 100 Volts.
If you have a device that does not accept 100 volts at 50 hertz, you will need a voltage converter, or a plug adapter. Unfortunately, we do not offer a converter or plug adapter for rent.
